"Thee Lost Souls” were four high school kids growing up in Tiffin, Ohio in the 60's who loved music.

The band they formed consisted of Tony Paulus, Tim Berry, Danny Paulus and Mark Swint

Not to be confused with "The Lost Souls" from Cleveland or any other band with that moniker (Billy Joel was in the Jersey version), Thee Lost Souls from Tiffin started out as the Lost Souls but when they heard of the Cleveland version just simply became "Thee Lost Souls". They never really thought it would be an issue, Cleveland was 100 miles away!!!!

The band worked a very busy schedule of all the high school dances, teen clubs, college and private parties and a few bar gigs - venues like the Note, the Pony Tail, and the Inferno. They won a ton of battle of the band contests in Fostoria, Findlay, and Upper Sandusky. They played in the six week rotation of bands at the Sunday night teen dances at "Ole Zims Wagon Shed" just outside of Fremont which regularly drew kids from Tiffin, Fremont, Port Clinton, Sandusky, Bowling Green, etc. In 1966 the band opened for "The Outsiders" who charted 3 Top 40 hits, including "Time Won’t Let Me" which went to #5.

After 40+ years they reformed to do a benefit show (with Mark Armstrong sitting in for Danny Paulus) after hearing of the passing of the keyboard player’s daughter, Marisa Paulus of Juvenile Diabetes, raising over $5000 for Juvenile Diabetes Research. They released a CD/DVD of the show titled 'Thee Lost Souls Live 7/31/09" on 12/21/09. Which is available on CDbaby, iTunes, Amazon MP3, and other digital sites. Thanks for visiting.
